Poplar Bluff Firefighters responded to an enclosed building fire at 5:50 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at Henson Transfer, 355 Black River Industrial Park. According to the report, heavy smoke was showing when the firefighters arrived. Butler County Fire Department already was on the scene extinguishing the fire. Henson employees used onsite heavy equipment to help control the fire.
PBFD searched for hot spots before clearing the enclosed building. The fire was confined to the enclosed building of origin.

Poplar Bluff Firefighters responded at 7:14 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, to an overturned motor vehicle with unknown injuries at 317 W. Midland St. Upon arrival, the report said, occupants had fled the scene. They cleared the roadway to safe conditions.

Butler County Firefighters responded at 12:40 a.m, Monday, Aug. 3, to 2023 Arkansas Ave. to assist emergency medical services with a female who had fallen in the floor. Firefighters and EMS helped her back in bed and all units cleared.

Butler County Firefighters responded at 5:40 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 2, to a transformer fire at 150 Harris Ave. The fire was due to a storm and firefighters stayed until Ozark Border workers arrived.
