Sikeston — Southeast Missouri Food Bank has scheduled more COVID-19 Response Mobile food distributions to respond to the increased need for food assistance following business closures and temporary layoffs due to the outbreak of COVID-19.

Sikeston — Southeast Missouri Food Bank has scheduled more COVID-19 Response Mobile food distributions to respond to the increased need for food assistance following business closures and temporary layoffs due to the outbreak of COVID-19.

The next COVID-19 Response Mobiles will be:

Friday, July 24, 2 p.m., New Madrid County Resource Center, 420 Virginia Ave., New Madrid

Friday, July 31, 10 a.m., Good Neighbor Pantry, 813 Davis Blvd., Sikeston

Saturday, July 25, 9 a.m., Lighthouse Christian Center, 18555 Lighthouse Drive, Dexter. Partner: Tyson Foods

Saturday, July 25, 9 a.m., Twin Rivers General Baptist Church, 6300 Highway 51, Fisk

Saturday, Aug. 1, 9 a.m., United Voice of Zion, 2780 North Douglas, Malden. Partner: Tyson

Saturday, Aug. 1, 9 a.m., Ellsinore General Baptist Church, 12 West Broadway. Partner: Bread Shed

People who need food assistance should attend only the mobile held in the county where they live and should bring a photo ID and piece of mail that shows proof of residence. Patrons should visit only one mobile per month and receive only one box per household. These will be drive-through distributions so people should stay in their vehicle but have a space cleared for a box of food.
