Farmers Insurance of Southeast Missouri donation to provide 40,000 meals for those in need
Farmers Insurance of Southeast Missouri made a $10,000 donation at the district level to Southeast Missouri Food Bank to support its COVID-19 response efforts. Presenting the donation were Farmers Insurance representatives Tom Smith, left, Tim Bryant, David Matthews and Doug Spooler. With many people temporarily furloughed from their jobs, the need for food assistance increased two- to three-fold in some areas of Southeast Missouri. The food bank responded by increasing food distributed through its 140 pantries and hold more mobile food distributions. The Farmers Insurance donation will provide 40,000 meals to families in need.
