Ruth Nelson

Ruth Nelson, age 82, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Sunday, June 28, 2020, at her residence.

Mrs. Nelson was born March 8, 1938, in Malden, Mo., daughter of the late Carl and Hazel Vineyard. She enjoyed outdoors activities and traveling.

On Feb. 13, 1958, she married Charles T. Nelson. He proceeded in death on Jan. 12, 2016.

She is survived by one son, Daryl Nelson and wife Teresa of Poplar Bluff; two daughters: Diane Goss and husband Charles of Trempealeau, Wisconsin., and Fay Potter and husband Daniel of Osseo, Wisconsin; one son-in-law: Russell Bridges; two sisters: Doris Smith of Poplar Bluff and Paula Smith of Texas;16 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter: Mary Bridges; and one brother: Dale Vinyard.

A Memorial service will be conducted in Wisconsin at a later date.
