Deloy J. Lawson

CORNING, Ark. — Deloy J. Lawson, 93, passed away at his home in Paragould, Arkansas, Thursday, June 25, 2020.

Lawson was a World War II veteran at the June 6, 1944, D-Day invasion of Normandy, France, and of naval action in the Pacific prior to the ending of the war with Japan.

Lawson, a widower, has two sons, Richie, who resides in Germantown, Tennessee, and Randy, who resides in Hollywood, Maryland.

Lawson is the brother of Tom Lawson, who resides here in Poplar Bluff with his wife, Jeane.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Ermert Funeral Home in Corning, Arkansas, and will include full military honors provided by John Holland and the Honor Guard of Poplar Bluff.
