Leonard Dean Frymire, 63 of Dexter, Mo., passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at home surrounded by his family.
Leonard was born Nov. 20, 1956, to Dempsey Noah and Flora Mae (Blocker) Frymire at Turkey Creek, Mo. His joys were playing music with his son and close friends and cooking with his daughter. Leonard loved to fish and being outdoors clearing land and enjoying nature.
On Nov. 7, 1975, he married Beverly Sue Belcher at the Calvary Baptist Church. After they were united in marriage, Leonard held many jobs, everything from meat-cutter, to fabricator, to machinist, to musician. He loved building a home with his wife of 46 years. They worked side by side on every project. They grew and taught each other a lot of love over the course of their marriage.
Survivors include his wife, Beverly Sue (Belcher) Frymire; children, Melissa Sue Frymire and Michael Dean Frymire, both of Dexter, Mo.; two brothers, Jimmy (Charlene) Frymire and Steven (Holly) Frymire of Wappapello, Mo.; a sister, Kay Frymire Gant of Essex, Mo.; and many other nieces, nephews and friends who will mourn his passing.
His parents, Dempsey and Flora Frymire; three sisters, Freda Mae McAnally, Veda Mae Adams and Lena Mae Patterson; and one brother, Junior Frymire, preceded Leonard in death.
A celebration of Leonard’s life will be celebrated at a later date.
