City firefighters responded at 3:13 p.m. Monday, June 22, to a motor-vehicle crash in the 1500 block of Maud Street.
According to the report, firefighters requested Municipal Utilities and AT&T respond as the vehicle had struck a fire hydrant, telephone box and guide wire to an electrical pole.

City firefighters responded at 12:11 p.m. Monday, June 22, to a motor-vehicle crash at 2940 N. Westwood Blvd.
According to the report, firefighters helped with clean up and moved the vehicles out of the road. Firefighters also removed battery cables from a vehicle battery.

City firefighters responded at 9:27 a.m. Monday, June 22, to a vehicle fire at 2002 Bradley St.
According to the report, firefighters found smoke coming from the passenger compartment of a 2000 Ford Explorer, owned by Gary Uhl. There also was a small amount of fire coming from the passenger compartment.
Uhl reported he had used buckets to extinguish most of the fire prior to the fire department’s arrival.
Firefighters used 50 gallons of water to put out the fire and used the department’s thermal-imaging camera to check for hot spots.
Uhl also reported he had an inverter under the rear seat and had plugged an air compressor into it, so he could air up a tire on a trailer attached to his SUV.

City firefighters provided medical assistance at 10:10 p.m. Saturday, June 20, after a woman experiencing breathing problems came to station No. 3 on Highway 53.
According to the report, firefighters requested emergency-medical-services personnel, kept the woman calm and provided her with what oxygen they had until EMS arrived.

County firefighters responded at 3:33 p.m. Monday, June 22, to a motor-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 67 and Highway JJ.
According to the report, no extrication was needed. Firefighters washed off the road.
