City firefighters responded at 4:59 p.m. Sunday, June 21, to a report of smoke in the area of 1452 Cole Ave.
According to the report, firefighters found a small leaf fire burning in the front yard.

City firefighters responded at 12:31 p.m. Sunday, June 21, to a motor-vehicle crash at the intersection of Kanell Boulevard and Shelby Road.
According to the report, firefighters positioned a fire truck to protect personnel working the scene and checked for injuries. Firefighters cut the power to one of the vehicles and remained on the scene until the vehicles were removed.

City firefighters responded at 7:42 p.m. Saturday, June 20, to a report of a structure fire at the 506 Hazel St. residence occupied by Debora Hemphill.
According to the report, Hemphill told firefighters she smelled smoke in her apartment.
Firefighters used the department’s thermal-imaging camera to check the residence and no source of the smoke was found.
