Mary Imogene (Robertson) Morgan went to be with the Lord on Friday, June 19, 2020.
She was born on Sept. 3, 1935, in Harviell, Missouri, to Roy Robertson and Irene Jane (Barker) Robertson.
She married the love of her life, Sherman F. Morgan, in Piggott, Arkansas, on May 29, 1953. The recently had their 67th wedding anniversary. They loved to camp and travel extensively. They were a team and worked together daily in their many ventures.
Mrs. Morgan was always busy and had held several different jobs. She was an Apostolic minister who travelled, preaching and touching many lives. Serving God, her family and others was what she loved to do. She was a member of Spirit and Truth Church in Bloomfield, Missouri.
She is survived by her husband and three children, Sherman F. Morgan Jr. and wife, Brenda, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, Janis Traughber and husband, Jim, of Dexter, Missouri, and Pamala Williams and husband, Noah, of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Karen Scronce and husband, Alex, of South Carolina, John Williams and wife, Heather, of Arkansas, Matthew Williams of Arkansas, Joseph Traughber and Jessica Traughber of Missouri. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, Henry and Ada Scronce and Brelyn and Samuel Williams.
She is preceded by one son, Michael Morgan and his daughter, Mickie Morgan; one grandson, Justin Traughber and one great-granddaughter, Evelyn Williams. Mrs. Morgan was the last remaining member of the Roy Robertson family.
Visitation will be held at Fitch-Hillis Funeral Home on Thursday, June 25, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A private going home service for the family will be held Friday. nterment will be at the Black Creek Cemetery.
