Charles Evert Norman Sr.

Charles Evert Norman Sr., 79, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., passed away on June 17, 2020, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

Charles was born on Feb. 13, 1941, to the late John and Beulah Mae (Marsh) Norman in Harviell, Mo. He had been married to Nancy Ellen Norman, who preceded him in death.

Charles enjoyed rabbit hunting with his beagles, fishing and baseball.

Charles is survived by his children Terry Norman, Karen Norman, La Kathy Norman (Curtis Tyler), Charles Norman Jr. (Anita), Lacrissa Salyer,  Ladonna Johnson (Jim),  James Cooper, Nicholas Hammond (Molly), Grace Brooks (Wesley); and brothers Leon Norman, Larry Norman and Johnny Norman.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; his parents; brothers Nate, Tom, Glen, and Lyndall Norman; and sister, Louella Luckett.

Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. on Friday, June 19, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. The funeral service will follow at 2 in the funeral home chapel with Ron Fowler officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.
