MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 26-year-old Blytheville, Arkansas, woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 12:10 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, on U.S. 6, three miles west of Risco in New Madrid County.
According to the report, Jacob A. Latamondeer, 30, of East Prairie was operating a westbound 2017 Nissan Rogue, which was attempting to overtake a 1993 GMC truck as it began to make a left turn.
Latamondeer’s vehicle allegedly was struck by the GMC truck being operated by Justin T. Tomlinson, 21, of Campbell.
Latamondeer’s passenger, Amber N. Latamonderr, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston for treatment.

Fortner, 23, of Dexter was arrested at 6:14 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, on a Wayne County warrant for probation violation on an original drug charge, a New Madrid County failure to appear warrant for possession of marijuana, a Stoddard County warrant for probation violation on a traffic offense and on suspicion of tampering with a motor vehicle, possession of fewer than 10 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, no registration, no insurance and no valid license. He was booked at the Wayne County Jail.

A 12-year-old Fisk girl was treated and released from SoutheastHEALTH of Stoddard County at Dexter after she was bitten by a dog on Tuesday, June 16.
According to the report, Kristi Lynn Wilkerson told the deputy her daughter, Brookelynn Nicole Wilkerson, was riding a dirt bike on Greason Street in Fisk when she was bit on her left calf.
Brookelynn’s wound reportedly required stitches.
