MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

An 84-year-old Gideon bicyclist was killed in a crash at 9:45 a.m. Monday, June 15, on Highway F, two miles west of Conran in New Madrid County.

According to the report, William E. Piatt was operating a Tricross bicycle eastbound at the same time Randal J. Brands, 64, of Portageville was operating an eastbound 2012 Ford pickup.

Brands’ truck allegedly struck the rear of Piatt’s bicycle.

Piatt was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:08 a.m. by New Madrid County Coroner George Delisle. Piatt is the 19th fatality in Troop E this year.

Mary W. Carver, 55, of Luling, Texas, was arrested at 10:45 a.m. Monday, June 15, in Carter County on suspicion of possession of fewer than 10 grams of marijuana. She was processed and released.

John A. Hamelburg, 47, of Ellsinore was arrested at 10:45 a.m. Monday, June 15, in Carter County on a Miller County warrant and a Butler County warrant and on suspicion of possession of fewer than 10 grams of marijuana. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

David J. Porter, 75, of Ellsinore was arrested at 10:45 a.m. Monday, June 15, in Carter County on suspicion of possession of fewer than 10 grams of marijuana. He was processed and released.

Mark W. Breeze, 60, of Lowndes was arrested at 1:32 p.m. Monday, June 15, on suspicion of DWI. He was booked at the Bollinger County Jail and released.

A 30-year-old Doniphan woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 6:40 p.m. Monday, June 15, on Highway 142, three miles east of Doniphan.

According to the report, Andrew K. King, 17, of Doniphan was operating a 1992 Chevrolet pickup northbound when he failed to stop at a stop sign and pulled his truck into the path of an eastbound 1997 Honda Civic.

The Honda, which was being operated by Jessica M. Casteel, allegedly struck the driver’s side door of King’s truck.

Casteel suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Myson Maurice Bruson, 29, of the 100 block of Begley Street was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, June 15, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Gregory Joseph Carlock, 40, of Doniphan was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, June 15, on suspicion of trespassing and resisting arrest.

Jashanna Unique Carter, 23, of the 100 block of Begley Street was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, June 15, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a firearm.

George Andrew Morgan, 37, of the 600 block of Lindsay was booked at the Butler County jail Tuesday, June 16, on warrants for first-degree trespassing and fraudulent attempt to use a credit device.

Jullien Sebastian Policape, 35, of Carterville, Illinois, was booked at the Butler County jail on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. He was released on bond.

Chadwick Allen Brush of the 1700 block of County Road 607 reported his 2004 Kawasaki four-wheeler was stolen between 9 p.m. Friday, June 12, and 7 a.m. Saturday, June 13.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT

Briana Shay Brigance, 27, of the 500 block of West Midland Street was arrested at 11:58 a.m. Monday, June 15, in the 500 block of West Midland on suspicion of domestic assault. She was booked and released on a criminal summons.

Ronnica Cherelle Moore, 34, of the 200 block of East Midland Street was arrested at 12:35 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, at her residence on suspicion of fourth-degree assault and second-degree burglary. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

A 30-year-old Poplar Bluff man was injured while walking on Sixth Street near Park Avenue at 5:42 a.m. Monday, June 15.

According to the report, Mark Anthony Coger Sr., 51, of the 2300 block of Grand Avenue was operating a 2005 Chevrolet pickup eastbound on Park.

At the same time, Artis E. Larue of the 2100 block of Spring Street was walking south on Sixth Street when he allegedly failed to stop at the posted stop sign and strike Coger’s truck in the driver’s side door.

Larue was taken by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment.

BLOOMFIELD — James Dylan Owens, 27, of Dexter was booked at the Stoddard County Jail on two warrants for probation violation and a warrant for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
