Van Buren man seriously injured in Monday crash

A 79-year-old Van Buren man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash at 10 a.m. Monday, June 8, on Highway M, five miles north of Van Buren.

According to the report, Richard A. Burnham was operating a 1999 Lincoln Continental southbound when it ran off the right side of the road and struck six trees.

Burnham was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
