FAIRDEALING — A 77-year-old Naylor woman was killed in a three-vehicle crash at 10:35 a.m. Monday on U.S. 160, two miles west of Fairdealing.

According to the report, Kristen R. Lindberg Lazaier, 51, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2016 Jeep Cherokee westbound when it struck the rear of a 2014 Toyota Prius being operated by Connie L. Van Curen of Naylor.

Van Curen’s car then allegedly crossed the center line, causing a 2005 Ford Expedition to strike her car.

Van Curen was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:35 a.m. by Ripley County Coroner Mike Jackson.

The Ford Expedition’s driver, Lori A. Crenshaw, 51, of Canton, suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Crenshaw’s passenger, Lorna R. Moore, 48, of High Ridge, Missouri, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to the Poplar Bluff hospital for treatment.

All lanes of U.S. 160 were blocked as troopers, including members of the patrol’s Major Crash Investigation Unit, investigated the crash, said patrol Sgt. Clark Parrott, Troop E’s public information officer.

U.S. 160 reopened for traffic sometime after 3 p.m., Parrott said.
