Hydro Adventures in Poplar Bluff will not be opening in the next two weeks, according to a release from the company.
The move, the company said, is “in compliance with Governor Parsons and Butler County’s extension of the Phase 1 recovery plan restrictions until June 15. The Governor’s executive order for businesses to close in response to the COVID-19 pandemic prevented our opening as originally scheduled and Phase 1 of the Show Me Strong Recovery plan contains restrictions too cumbersome for our business to operate at this time.”
Hydro Adventures said it is “continuously assessing the situation” and expects to provide additional updates in conjunction with the Governor’s next announcement on or near June 15.
“For our valued season pass holders, we thank you for your continued patience,” the company said. “We will be releasing details of enhancements to the season pass program to make up any value lost due to the COVID-19 preventative closure once we know when full operations may resume.”
