City firefighters responded at 9:39 p.m. Thursday, May 21, to a report of an unauthorized burn in the 1100 block of Cole Avenue.
According to the report, firefighters found an unauthorized burn behind the 1112 Cole Ave. residence owned by Dana Summers.
Firefighters reportedly told Summers about the city’s burn ordinance and used 20 gallons of water to put out the fire.

According to the report, the fire was out upon the fire department’s arrival.
