Moudine Sentell

Moudine Sentell, age 86, of Poplar Bluff, formerly of Qulin, died Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Sentell was born April 22, 1934, in Fagus, Mo., daughter of the late Russel and Florence Vincent.

She was a member of the American Legion Post 153, Eagles in Poplar Bluff and Qulin Lions Club. She was a homemaker and worked for several years at the Butler County Health Department. She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, cooking and making pies and cakes.

On Feb. 28, 1953, she married Aaron Sentell. He preceded her in death on Oct. 27, 1978. She is survived by two sons: Lavon Sentell (Lisa) of Poplar Bluff and Tim Sentell (Amy) of Qulin; one daughter, Sue Shepard (Michael) of Dexter; two brothers, Jasper Vincent of Farmington, Connecticut, and Jerry Vincent of Doniphan; one sister, Peggy Rogers of Thayer, Mo.; five grandchildren, Garrick and Brandon Sentell, Travis and Rob Cozort and Abby Guzman; and six great grandchildren, Kyle, Christopher, Laci, Kaylyn, Riley and Emerson. She was also preceded in death by two siblings Johnny Vincent and Billie Grable.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gary Hancock officiating. Burial will be in Qulin Cemetery.
