MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 24-year-old Poplar Bluff woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 4:45 p.m. Monday, May 4, on County Road 618, four miles south of Ellington.
According to the report, Makalah N. Cullum was operating a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze eastbound when it sideswiped another vehicle, which left the scene.
Cullum suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Michael Shawn Jameson, 43, of Broseley was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, May 4, on suspicion of receiving stolen property and stealing.

Amanda Cheyenne Young, 23, of the 6000 block of Highway B was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, May 4, on suspicion of peace disturbance. She later was released.

Gregory Lee Despain reported April 13 that a 16-foot trailer had been stolen from Pratte Wolford’s property in the 400 block of County Road 553.

Larissa Nicole Hays of the 100 block of Hampton Court reported on Monday, May 4, that her purse, containing her wallet, prescription medication, money, unscratched lottery tickets, Social Security card and bank cards was stolen from her car, along with a jacket and women’s clothing. The theft occurred after 8 a.m. while her vehicle was parked outside a bar in the 600 block of Highway T.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT
Al Demetri Brown, 46, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 2:45 p.m. Monday, May 4, in the 1400 block of Sanders Street on suspicion of possession of fewer than 35 grams of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and violating an order of protection. He was booked at the Butler County jail.
