PB teenager seriously injured in Tuesday afternoon crash

A Poplar Bluff teenager was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash at 12:23 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, on County Road 450, one mile west of Poplar Bluff.

According to the report, Kelvin V. Rivera, 22, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2001 Mercury Sable westbound when it ran off the right side of the road and overturned.

Rivera and his 18-year-old passenger, Christian M. Colclasure of Doniphan, suffered minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 16-year-old male also was taken by ambulance to the Poplar Bluff hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
