FISK — The Fisk Community Library will host its annual rummage sale May 7-9 at the Fisk Community Center.

Shopping will be from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, May 7, and Friday, May 8, and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 9, at 508 Garfield Street on the south side of City Hall. The event ends with a bag sale during the last hour Saturday.

Various household items, including decorations, furniture and plenty of books will be for sale. Everything is clean, organized and priced to sell. There will also be a daily drawing.

CDC recommendations will be observed.

To donate an item, drop off at the center from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 4-6. To help with the sale, or to request a special delivery time, call Susan at 573-776-8312 and leave a message.

Last year the library added another funding source with a booth at Hick’s Pickin & Grinnin Flea Market, 2356 Hwy. B in Poplar Bluff.

Since 1991, the library has served Fisk and the surrounding communities with internet access, copying and books, including audio and large print as well as children’s books, many on the accelerated reading list. Located on the north end of 508 Garfield Street, the library is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
