City firefighters responded at 6:39 p.m. Sunday, April 26, to a report of an unauthorized burn at 807 Lester St.
According to the report, firefighters found a small attended fire on the sidewalk in front of the residence
Firefighters contacted a woman who was sitting on the ground near the fire. The woman reported the fire was hers, and she had wanted someone to call the police.
Firefighters used 10 gallons of water to put out the fire and remained on the scene until police officer(s) arrived.

City firefighters responded at 11:36 a.m. Saturday, April 25, to a report of debris on fire in the front yard of the 2504 Roxie Road residence owned and occupied by Tim Ward.
According to the report, firefighters found trash and debris on fire in the front yard. Firefighters contacted Ward and used 50 gallons of water to put out the fire.
