MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 19-year-old Essex resident was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 2:15 p.m. Friday, April 24, on Highway H, three miles east of Matthews.
According to the report, Paige L. Builderback was operating a 2019 Kia Optima westbound when it ran off the road and struck an embankment.
Builderback suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston for treatment.

Kevin Dale Ashcraft of Qulin reported unknown person(s) cut the wires to several of his grain bins on County Road 240 at Qulin and stole a large amount of copper wiring. The incident is believed to have occurred between 6 p.m. Thursday, April 23, and 6 a.m. Friday, April 24.
