Two Malden residents were injured in a one-vehicle crash at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, on Highway J in Asherville in Stoddard County.
According to the report, James D. Conner, 37, was operating a westbound 2005 Pontiac Grand Am when it ran off the right side of the road, struck a tree and overturned.
Conner suffered moderate injuries, as did his 10-year-old passenger. Both were taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.

A 25-year-old Dexter woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, on County Road 651, one mile north of Highway H, in Stoddard County.
According to the report, Brandi N. Hill was operating a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu northbound when it ran off the left side of the road.
Hill suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Aaron Jefferson Sandlin, 23, of Dexter was booked at the Butler County jail Wednesday, April 15, on a Stoddard County failure to appear warrant for no seat belt. He was released on bond.

Juanita Little reported Sunday, April 12, that a mobile home on the property of the Qulin Trinity Pentecostal Church in the 100 block of First Street had been forcibly entered.
According to the report, an air mattress, two bed spreads, blanket and laundry detergent and softener were stolen.

Billy D. Briney of Corning, Ark., reported Tuesday, April 14, that a John Deere power unit was stolen from a location on Highway EE at Neelyville.

Hughey Inman reported Tuesday, April 14, that a residence he owns in the 500 block of County Road 580 was forcibly entered.
According to the report, several sections of copper wire were cut and stolen from the walls of the home.
The suspect(s) also attempted to steal copper wire off of a power pole or backed into it, knocking it down.
