Mr. Scott, the son of the late Charles and Rubye Kearbey Scott, was born July 1, 1928, in Poplar Bluff.

He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army.  Mr. Scott was committed to Christ at Bethel Chapel Church and was a longtime farmer. Over the years he raised cattle and grew row crops and hay.  He also was a school bus driver and was well liked by all the kids who he could call by first names or nick names.  He loved to spend time with his family and was crazy about his grandchildren.
