Bronda Rose Ashworth, age 76 of Dexter, Mo., died Wednesday, April 08, 2020 at her home, in Dexter.
Mrs. Ashworth was born Dec. 12, 1943, in Portageville, Mo., daughter of the late Edgar and Edna Lacy. She was a homemaker and had worked at Whispering Oaks Boarding Home for several years.
On Dec. 14, 1958, she married Ellis Lee Ashworth. He preceded her in death on Nov. 4, 2016.
She is survived by four children: Melody Beebe, Debra Ashworth and Mark Ashworth all of Poplar Bluff, and Darren Ashworth of Dexter; five grandchildren: Lacy Sowell, Misty Dunkin, Chad Joehrs, Hillary Peck, and Dannie Jo Sneathern; and eight great grandchildren: Adalyn Alsup, Parker Dunkin, Shyla Joehrs, Presley Dunkin, Chadrick Joehrs, Chase Wangler, Paxton Dunkin, and Blake Wangler. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter Brandy Beebe.
There will be a private family visitation and service at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk, with the service streamed on White Sanders funeral Home Facebook page at 1 p.m. on Monday. Burial will be in the Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
