Butler County now has eight individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19.
The two recent individuals are self isolating, said Emily Goodin of the Butler County Health Department.
The health department is not releasing any additional information about the patients.
Butler County’s first resident to test positive was announced March 31.
The state of Missouri tracks the number of positive cases but there appear to be delays in the updates posted to its page on the Health and Senior Services website.
Butler County, for example, is still listed with five cases as of 11 a.m. Wednesday, although now eight cases have been announced. The fifth and sixth cases were announced Tuesday.
