A fourth positive case of COVID-19 has been announced for Butler County.
The individual is self isolating, said Emily Goodin of the Butler County Health Department.
This is the first new case for Butler County since the third positive case was announced Friday.
The health department is not releasing information concerning when the tests were initially performed on the residents and how long it may have taken to receive results.
The second positive case was announced Thursday, with results received Wednesday, April 1, from a test conducted March 30.
Butler County’s first resident to test positive was announced March 31, from a test that was conducted March 17.
The state of Missouri tracks the number of positive cases but has seen some delays in updates to its web page on the Health and Senior Services website.
Butler County, for example, is still listed with two cases, although four have been announced.
As of 11 a.m. Monday, other area counties reported the following positive cases:

Reynolds - 2
