Jean Kristen Montgomery, 31, of Bolivar was arrested at 12:39 a.m. Saturday, March 28, in the 1200 block of Velma Street on a probation and parole warrant on the original charge of check forgery. She was booked in the Butler County jail.

Patricia Anne White, 61, of the 500 block of 9th Street reported at 11:12 p.m. Thursday, March 26, that a large rock came through her window.

Poplar Bluff police officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop at Lester and Broadway after observing a Yamaha motorcycle fail to stop at a stop sign at 7:20 p.m Thursday, March 26.

According to the report, the officer followed the vehicle westbound on Lester with lights on to conduct the traffic stop. The driver reportedly ran five additional stop signs on Lester before turning onto Business 67 from the junior high school parking lot. They continued onto Maud Street heading westbound and reportedly ran two additional stop signs before turning northbound onto Shelby Road.

Officers discontinued the pursuit at Shelby Road and Roxie Road without the driving stopping.

A 32-year-old Advance woman received moderate injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 2:10 p.m. Friday, March 27, while driving in Stoddard County at Route K and Route BB.

According to the report, Leigh A. Rhodes was driving a 2015 Chevrolet Malibu and traveling west when the vehicle ran off the roadway and hit an embankment.

She was taken by ambulance to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Three Paragould, Ar residents received minor to moderate injuries in a one-vehicle crash at 1:10 p.m. Friday, March 27, while driving on County Road 527 about one mile south of Senath.

According to the report, Tray W. Walker, 57, was driving a 1999 Ford Explorer north when the vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree.

Walker was taken by ambulance to Arkansas Methodist Hospital for moderate injuries. His passengers were also transported there the same way; Gisela O. Walker, 50, for minor injuries and Amanda L. Parker for moderate injuries.

Terrry E. Eftink, 52, of Chaffee was arrested at 11:45 p.m. Friday, March 27, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated (alcohol). He was released for medical treatment.

Eric Hatfield, 31, of Doniphan was arrested at 1:46 p.m. Saturday, March 28, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and no proof of insurance. He was booked at the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office and released.
