BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT
James Joseph Cassin, 35, of St. Charles, Missouri, was booked at the Butler County jail Wednesday, March 25, on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault, second-degree kidnapping and first-degree sexual misconduct. He later was released.

A 44-year-old Poplar Bluff woman was treated and released from Poplar Bluff Regional Medical after she was bitten by a dog on March 22.
According to the report, Shannon Miller of the 5000 block of Linwood Drive was bitten by a dog while at her father’s residence on County Road 302.
Miller reported the dog came up to her and she was petting it, and as she was doing so, her son came up and hugged the dog. It reportedly then bit her on her hand and on her leg as she attempted to close a door.
Miller reportedly required stitches to her hand and suffered minor injuries to her leg.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT
Shelby L. Hedeen, 20, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 12:50 a.m. Thursday, March 26, in the 400 block of North Second Street on two Jackson County failure to appear warrants for possession of amphetamine. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Kelly Lynette Ferrell, 25, and Kyle Logan-Walker Burnett, 22, both of Poplar Bluff were arrested at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, March 25, in the 1400 block of Vincent Street.
Ferrell was arrested on a Butler County warrant for non-support.
Burnett was arrested on a warrant for parole violation on an original burglary charge.
Both were booked at the Butler County jail.

Kevin Eugene Graff, 31, no address listed, was arrested at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, in the 200 block of Henry Street on a Butler County warrant for possession of a controlled substance and on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at the Butler County jail.
