Poplar Bluff city officials will hold a planning and zoning meeting tonight by teleconference, the first public meeting to be closed locally in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. They have also announced a list of several advisory boards that will not meet until further notice, according to city manager Mark Massingham.

The Poplar Bluff Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the city council chambers, 301 S. Fifth St.

In an effort to not delay development projects, while protecting commission members, applicants, and the public, the Planning and Zoning Commission meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, March 23, will be held via conference call.
