Tanika L. Trice, 29, of Neelyville was arrested at 11:46 p.m. Friday, March 6, on a Butler County warrant for tampering with a witness and on suspicion of resisting arrest. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Jerry N. Gunn, 22, of Paragould, Ark., was arrested at 10:47 p.m. Friday, March 6, on suspicion of DWI and careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash. He was booked at the Stoddard County Jail.

Jones, 29, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:20 p.m. Friday, March 6, on suspicion of unlawful use of a weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), concealing contraband in a correctional facility, possession of a weapon in a correctional facility, driving while suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Joshua S. Patterson, 26, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:48 p.m. Friday, March 6, on suspicion of DWI, no insurance and failure to drive on the right half of the road resulting in a traffic crash. He was booked at the Stoddard County Jail.

A 20-year-old Olive Branch, Mississippi, man drowned Saturday in the private pond in Pemiscot County.

According to the report, Kirk R. King was attempting to swim across a pond, located near the intersection of Highway K and Highway A, when he submerged and did not surface.

King was pronounced dead at the scene by 5:11 a.m. by Pemiscot County Coroner Jim Brimhall.

Lloyd Dallas Cannady, 33, of the 500 block of Mahogany Lane was booked at the Butler County jail Friday, March 6, on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon, a warrant for resisting arrest and two failure to appear warrants for resisting arrest and first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle.

Donna R. Durham, 35, of Wappapello was arrested at 4:20 p.m. Friday, March 6, at Probation and Parole on a Stoddard County warrant for probation violation on an original charge of possession of a controlled substance. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Cody Fisher, 27, who listed Poplar Bluff and Naylor addresses, was arrested at 12:54 p.m. Friday, March 6, at Probation and Parole on a municipal failure to appear warrant for stealing. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Crystal R. Stadin, 43, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 10:51 a.m. Friday, March 6, at the Walmart Supercenter on suspicion of stealing and two municipal failure to appear warrants for notice to abate and prohibited practices trash. She was booked and released on bond.

Denni Robert White reported his shop in the 1500 block of North Grand was entered between Feb. 27 and 3:30 p.m. March 3.

According to the report, several tools, including paint guns, impact drivers, grinders and sanders, were stolen. Also taken were speakers, fishing poles and vehicles keys.

A detective with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division processed the scene.

David Allen reported three trucks at Baldwin Ford in the 800 block of South Westwood Boulevard had their catalytic converters cut and stolen between 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, and 7 a.m. Thursday, March 5.

According to the report, in the last two weeks, several trucks had their catalytic converters stolen.

Melissa C. Kearby of the 1900 block of Brentwood Road reported her debit card was lost at about 10:15 a.m. Friday, March 6, while she was at the Walmart Supercenter.

According to the report, the card was used twice later in the day without Kearby’s authorization.
