The Poplar Bluff Planning and Zoning Commission will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the city council chambers, 501 S. Fifth St.

Items on the agenda include discussion of wireless communications.

Items on the voting agenda include:

• Amendment to the CX-3 central commercial mixed use district

• An application to rezone vacant property between Katy Lane and Barron Road from RS-2 general residential to O-1 office professional for future commercial use. Applicant is John Barbour and the Barbour Family.

• Zoning classification for property south of Kanell Boulevard and east of the Highway 67 bypass. Applicant is the city planning department.

• Application for conditional use permit to operate an independent and assisted living facility for up to 70 patrons in an RS-1 rural residential area. Applicant is Neal Slattery of Americare Senior Living.

The Poplar Bluff Arts and Advisory Board will meet at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Margaret Harwell Art Museum.

__Residential housing__

The Poplar Bluff Residential Housing Advisory Board will meet at 5 p.m. Thursday at the city council chambers.

Items on the agenda include discussion of code requirements for residential and commercial properties and notice to abate regulations.

__Building standards__

The Poplar Bluff Building Standards Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the city council chambers.

Compliance hearings will be held for: 424 Homer St., owned by George and Krista Greenwall, and 604 Cherry St., owned by John and Kenneth Murphy.

Meetings for the disability, housing and historical preservation boards have been cancelled for next week.
