POCAHONTAS, Ark. — The Brockett Cemetery on Highway 115, north of Pocahontas (between Pocahontas and Maynard) will have its annual spring cleanup, weather permitting, on Saturday, March 14.
Brockett Cemetery is not a perpetual care cemetery. The maintenance and upkeep is solely by volunteer work and donations, so volunteers are asked to come early and bring their tools to work.
Anyone with relatives buried in Brockett Cemetery, who has not made a donation for 2020 to assist in the maintenance of the cemetery, may do so by making check payable to Brockett Cemetery Fund and mail to: Farmers & Merchants Bank, P.O. Box 467, Pocahontas, Ark., 72455.
