CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Friends of Saint Francis will host their annual golf tournament on Friday, Aug. 14. Proceeds benefit community efforts to feed hungry children in the area.
The tournament will be held at the world-class Dalhousie Golf Club. The 4-person scramble features skins, mulligans, hole-in-one prizes and other enhancers, according to a press release from Saint Francis.
Breakfast is 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Morning tee time is 7:30 a.m. and afternoon tee time is 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Registration includes 18 holes of golf, green fees, golf cart, lunch and more. Prizes will be awarded immediately following the completion of each flight. Hole #18 is dedicated to Ken Hayden.
Nearly 200 golfers and 48 volunteers turned out for The Friends of Saint Francis Golf Tournament in 2019. A total of $155,000 was raised last year for community efforts to feed hungry children.
