Carol Ann Porter

Carol Ann Porter, 75, of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2020 at her residence, in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Porter was born May 8, 1944 in Astoria, Ore. Carol had been an insurance agent for 24 years. She retired from American General Insurance. She later worked as a hostess at Burger King for three years. She was a member of the American Legion.

In 1992 she married Bob Porter. He survives.

She is also survived by one daughter: Kimberly Peck and husband, Donnie, of Port Orchard, Wash.; two sons: Mike Shupe of Poplar Bluff and Ted Perdue of Malakoff, Texas; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

There will be a private celebration of life at a later date.
