WAPPAPELLO LAKE — The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will host a Winter Watch Saturday, Feb. 1, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m at the Bill Emerson Memorial Visitor Center.

Starting at 9, visitors can look for eagles, migratory waterfowl and birds at the designated viewing stations around Wappapello Lake.

Come to the Bill Emerson Memorial Visitor Center for a day filled with family-friendly activities, crafts and viewing opportunities of a hacking tower that was used during eagle re-introduction.

This event is open to all ages.

Maps will be provided to direct visitors to the viewing area. Those attending the event are encouraged to bring binoculars and dress accordingly for the weather.
