MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 21-year-old Dexter woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, on Highway M, three miles southeast of Marston in New Madrid County.
According to the report, Brittany Simmons, 24, of Dexter was operating a 1997 Ford pickup westbound when it ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
Simmons’ passenger, Brianna Meindel, suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.

Peter Bennett, 51, of Neelyville was arrested at 8:53 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to register, possession of plates of another, failure to transfer plates within 30 days and no seat belt and two Butler County warrants and a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Two Puxico teens were injured in a one-vehicle crash at 9:23 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, on County Road 266, two miles north of Puxico.
According to the report, Lorlii S. Adams, 17, was operating a 2012 Ford Escape westbound when it ran off the road and overturned.
Adams suffered minor injuries, while her 16-year-old passenger suffered moderate injuries.
Adams was taken by private vehicle to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The other teen was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.

Biggs, 18, of Parma was arrested at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, on a New Madrid County warrant for possession of a controlled substance, a Scott County warrant for possession of a controlled substance, a Scott County failure to appear warrant for leaving the scene of an accident and on suspicion of speeding. He was booked at the Wayne County Jail.
