A 23-year-old Naylor man received serious injuries in a two-vehicle at 2:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, on Highway 160 West of County Line Road.

A 23-year-old Naylor man received serious injuries in a two-vehicle at 2:45 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, on Highway 160 West of County Line Road.

According to the report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jacob W. Joplin was driving a 2002 GMC Sonoma westbound when the vehicle traveled into the path of a 2015 Mack truck operated by Shaun P. Barner, 50, of Rogersville, Tennessee.

Joplin was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for serious injuries. Barner reported no injuries.

The road was closed and did not reopen until around 4:30 p.m., when the majority of it reopened. Troopers also called for assistance from other agencies during their response, including to help with extrication.
