A 45-year-old Poplar Bluff man was killed in a two-vehicle crash at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, on Highway 53, two miles north of Qulin.
According to the report, Jacky F. Battles was operating a southbound 1993 Harley Davidson that was slowing to make a turn and was struck by a 2003 Chevrolet Monte Carlo being driven southbound by Jaxson R. Warren, 18, of Kennett.
Battles was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:02 p.m. by Butler County Coroner Andy Moore.
Battles is the 49th fatality in Troop E this year.
