Vivian (nee Stanley) Pollack, age 83 years, 10 months and 13 days, and a resident of Poplar Bluff for the past 40 years, went home to be with her Lord Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her family and friends.
Vivian was originally from St. Louis and was a homemaker. She loved to travel, play bingo and visit the casinos. Her most treasured moments were spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and her friends.
Vivian was united in marriage to Charles Samuel Pollack, in 1954. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two children, Charlie Pollack and Tina (Dennis) Sullivan; a son-in-law John Sweesey, Jr., all of Poplar Bluff; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Her parents, Delbert and Nacel Mae (nee Foster) Stanley; five children, Deborah Poole, Charles “Butch” Pollack, Connie Pollack, Mickey Pollack and Vivian Inman; one grandchild; two brothers and three sisters also preceded Vivian in death .
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26 at Cotrell Funeral Chapel, to celebrate Vivian’s life.
