City firefighters responded at 5:20 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21, to a motor-vehicle crash at 500 N. Sixth St.
According to the report, firefighters checked for injuries and stabilized the neck of one person until emergency-medical-services personnel arrived.
Firefighters then helped EMS in packaging and loading the person for transport.

City firefighters responded at 2:03 p.m. Thursday to a report of heavy smoke in the area of Valley and Alice streets.
According to the report, firefighters found a small, unauthorized fire behind the 1038 Alice St. residence owned by Carl Miller.
For logistical reasons, the fire was allowed to burn out. Firefighters told Miller about the city’s burn ordinance.
