NEELYVILLE — James William Main, Sr., 73, of Corning, Ark., passed away Nov. 12, 2019 at his residence. He was born Feb. 8, 1946 in Wythe County, Va. to the late Richard Main and Elsie Burns Main.

On July 11, 2013 in Piggott, Ark. he was married to Sharon Shelton. She survives.

Also surviving are two children, Jamie Lee Cambell of Poplar Bluff and James William Main Jr. of Doniphan; three stepchildren, Joseph Blanton of Corning, Jessica Segraves of Poplar Bluff and Tabitha Caudel of Fisk; sisters, Judith Main and Lois, as well as three brothers, Kenneth Main, Bobby Main and Tom Main, as well as 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

James is preceded in death by his parents as well as one son, Richard Allen Main. He passed on Nov. 22, 1991.

James had served in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Disabled Veterans. He enjoyed artifacts, pottery and collecting arrow heads.

Visitation for James will be Saturday, Nov. 16 starting at 9 a.m. till 11 a.m. in the Fowler & Sons Funeral Home of Neelyville. The funeral will start 11 a.m. Burial with full military rites will be in the Polka Hollow Cemetery in Van Buren.
