MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 40-year-old Bernie man was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, on Highway Z, one-quarter of a mile east of County Road 755.
According to the report, Justin K. Huffman was operating a 2005 Chevrolet pickup eastbound when it slid off the right side of the road and overturned.
Huffman suffered minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to SoutheastHEALTH of Stoddard County at Dexter for treatment.

Stacey Lynn Westfall, 37, of Oxly was arrested at 3:37 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, in the 1000 block of Tremont Street on suspicion of stealing. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Steve Carl Smith, 45, of the 900 block of Victor Street was detained Monday, Nov. 11, at the Walmart Supercenter. He was issued a summons for shoplifting and released.

Misty Dawn Grogan of the 1100 block of Fairmont Street reported her vehicle was entered between 5 and 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11, while it was parked in the 1700 block of Whispering Oaks.
According to the report, her purse, containing cash and a debit card, a pair of men’s shoes and her daughter’s bag containing her school-issued laptop were stolen.
Grogan’s debit card subsequently was used twice without her authorization.

Vince J. Lampe reported Monday, Nov. 11, that a window had been broken out of a 2007 Chevrolet pickup owned by the Butler County Highway Department while it was parked at the courthouse.

MALDEN — Erwin Skaggs, 46, of Malden was arrested Monday, Nov. 11, on a Malden municipal failure to appear warrant for no insurance. He was booked at the Malden City Jail and released on bond.
