MHAM names People's Choice winner of artists guild exhibit

Margaret Harwell Art Museum held a reception Sunday for the 66th annual Poplar Bluff Artists Guild Regional Juried Art Exhibit.

Awards, including People’s Choice, were presented. The People’s Choice Award was voted on by attendees of the reception.

People's Choice was awarded to Mattlyn Grace Stacy, 16. Stacy was not eligible to compete in the competition, according to museum Director Steve Whitworth, but was eligible for the People's Choice Award. She is the daughter of Stacy and Matt Stacy, and previously worked with artist Paul Jackson on a mural at Three Rivers College.

The exhibit will run through Dec. 1.
