FISK — Gary Wayne Mullins, age 71, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019 surrounded by his family at Saint Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau. Mr. Mullins was born Feb. 1, 1948 in Poplar Bluff to the late Oren and Edna Mullins.
He spent his career in real estate and appraisal in the Poplar Bluff area. Mr. Mullins attended Twin Rivers Baptist Church in Broseley. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching NASCAR, and spending time with his grandchildren.
Gary is survived by his wife of 40 years, Elaine Mullins; daughter, Michelle (Russell) Phillips; son, Wesley (Charlene) Mullins; daughter, Christy (Ken) Eastham; grandchildren, Seth (Jerra) Phillips and Samuel (Darby) Phillips; Megan (Nathan) Smith, Clay Mullins and one great-grandson, Chase Phillips, all of Poplar Bluff.
Other survivors include one sister, Shelba Mullins, of Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, Mark (Lisa) Mullins of Ash Grove, Mo; three nieces, Sherry, Kim and Kristi; two nephews, David and Adam and many other family and friends.
He will be missed by his two dogs, Chug and Baxter.
Visitation will begin Friday at 11 a.m. at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Adam Mathias officiating. Burial will be at Lowndes Cemetery in Lowndes, Mo. Condolences: whitesandersfuneralhome.com
