MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

A 31-year-old Kennett man was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, on U.S. 60, five miles east of Van Buren.

According to the report, Christopher T. Caraway was operating a 2001 Honda CRV eastbound when it ran off the left side of the road, struck a culvert and came to rest in the median.

Caraway suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Ashley Elizabeth Bissette, 34, of the 900 block of Harper Street was booked at the Butler County jail Wednesday, Oct. 23, on a warrant for probation violation.

Deshannon Rae Peluso/Thurman, 40, of Wappapello was booked at the Butler County jail Wednesday, Oct. 23, on two capias warrants for probation violation on original charges of possession of a controlled substance.

Amanda Basha Smith, 28, of Pollard, Ark., was booked at the Butler County jail Wednesday, Oct. 23, on warrants for parole violation and first-degree endangering the welfare of a child.

Adam C. Gau reported a winch from a trimmer, owned by Asplundh Tree Expert, was stolen between 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 21, and 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, from a location on County Road 314.

According to the report, hydraulic hoses also were damaged.

John Wayne Owen, 45, of the 2300 block of Grand Avenue was arrested at 11:01 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, in the 1300 block of Shelby Road on a Butler County warrant for domestic assault. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Darrell Vernon Passmore, 44, of the 800 block of Franklin Street was arrested at 12:44 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, at his residence on a Randolph County, Ark., warrant for two counts of first-degree sexual assault. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Tina Marie Litvinchyk of the 600 block of Vine Street reported her 2018 Chevrolet Impala was stolen between 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, and 6 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 24.
