Briannon Lee Miller, 25, of the 5000 block of Nellie Sue Circle reported at 4:26 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17 that it appeared as though her residence had been entered.
According to the report, Miller left the residence to pick up her child from the bus stop, but when she returned the door was open and there was a wrench on the step. She did not report anything missing.

Omar Freddrick Youngblood, 32, of the 2100 block of Woods Street was booked in the Butler County jail Friday, Oct. 17, on suspicion of possession of drugs (heroin), two failure to appear warrants for driving while revoked and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and capias possession of marijuana.

Gene Hux, 34, with Academy Sports reported on Friday, Oct. 18, that at 4:48 p.m. two white males entered the store and went to look at the footwear.
According to the report, the two made their way over to the Columbia section where they started concealing apparel from the racks. One of the men then left the business without making an attempt to pay while the other moved over to the fitness section. After some time, he left as well without attempting to pay.

City officers responded to a vehicle in a ditch off Barron Road near May at 10:36 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18
According to the report, the 2016 VW Jetta was resting in the ditch and officers had the vehicle towed. The vehicle owner Andrew Melton reported while he was driving a deer ran into the road at the same time his phone rang and by the time he looked up, he was already off the road and unable to correct before coming to a stop in the ditch. He reported that he had left the vehicle in an attempt to get help removing it from the ditch.

Bernard Louis Gales, 30, of the 1000 block of Cole Street was arrested at 11:55 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, on a Butler County warrant for domestic assault. He was booked in the Butler County jail.

Kristy Lynn Lee, of the 1400 block of N. 12th Street was arrested at 10:28 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, on a Poplar Bluff City Failure to Appear Warrant for no insurance. She was booked in the Butler County jail.
Missouri State Highway Patrol
Frank C. Day, 44, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:07 a.m. Friday, Oct. 17, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on the right half of the road, no insurance and no seat belt. He was booked in the Butler County jail and later released.
