Breanna L. Savat and Lanny Corcimiglia, of the 6000 block of Crest Drive reported unknown person(s) entered their residence between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Oct. 1. A door had been pried open and several items were reported stolen. A 10mm Glock handgun, 300 rounds Glock ammunition plus 11 clips, jewelry, a Play Station 4 and a bolt lock were among items missing.

The owner of Insta Pawn, in the 60 block of Highway NN, Curtis Phelps, reported that between the hours of 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 28 and 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 29 two storage units leased to Dustin Haskins and Kevin Ellsworth, were broken into at his business. Phelps found doors standing open on the units and the locks had been cut off. A mini fridge was reported stolen from Haskin’s unit. Ellsworth was unavailable for comment at the time of report.

On Sept. 20 Realtor Don Lancaster reported several windows were broken out of a residence he is managing in the 100 block of County Road 452. Several windows were reported broken throughout the residence.

Virginia S. Davis, of the 300 block of County Road 603 reported her small brown mixed breed dog had been stolen from her yard at approximately 4 a.m on Sept. 29. Davis reported seeing a black pickup leaving the area and hearing her dog squealing at the time of the incident.

Robert R. Duckett reported property owned by his mother, Esther M. Duckett, had been entered by unknown person(s) and ransacked between Sept. 24 and Oct. 2. Duckett reported a window had been broken out of the residence, food containers, empty bottles and drinking glasses were scattered throughout the residence, a .22 caliber single action rifle and a .22 caliber revolver were reported stolen. Duckett also reported a barn on the property had been broken into and ransacked. An investigation is ongoing.

Gaelyn M. Richardson, of the 600 block of County Road 432, reported on Oct. 1 three of his cats had recently died under similar and suspicious circumstances. According to the report, Richardson has confirmation from a veterinarian at Hillcrest Animal Hospital his animals had been poisoned. An investigation is ongoing.

Jennifer L. Ortega, of the 100 block of Bluff Canyon, reported on Oct. 1 her IS 2TX ProMax phone was stolen when she was paying for her purchase at Kerr’s Express in Poplar Bluff. According to the report and video surveillance footage, Ortega placed her phone on the counter and the patron behind Ortega laid a jacket over Ortega’s phone and took the phone. An investigation is ongoing.

An employee of Academy Sports and Outdoors, 3090 block of Oak Grove Road, reported on Oct. 1 an unidentified black female entered the store, opened two boxes containing new Nike and New Balance shoes and placed the shoes in her handbag. The suspect then exited the store without paying for the merchandise.

Patrick O’Bryan Bryant, 30, of 1800 block of Indiana Street, was arrested on Oct. 2 on multiple warrants failure to appear warrants for affray, resisting/interfering with arrest, possession of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid, no insurance, and possession of a controlled substance less than 35 grams. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Michelle Lynn Kelm, 45, of Qulin, was booked at the Butler County jail on suspicion of possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less.

Lonnie Terry Ruff, 53, of 2000 block of 14th Street, was arrested on suspicion of third-degree child molestation of a child less than 14 years of age. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Natasha Lynanne Simmons, 27, of Bloomfield, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana). He was booked at the Butler County jail.

William Webb Young, 52, of the 300 block of Meadowbrook, was arrested on suspicion of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Danny Ray Vaughn Broege, 23, of the 400 block of B Street was arrested on Oct. 2 on multiple failure to appear warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of synthetic cannabinoid. He was booked at the Butler County jail.
Missouri State Highway Patrol
Daniel L. Wood, 55, of Harviell, was arrested at 12:59 p.m. Oct. 3 on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and operating a motor vehicle in a stream. He was booked at the Butler County jail on a 24 hour hold.

Rustin S. Howdeshell, 27, of Poplar Bluff, was arrested at 9:57 p.m. Oct. 3 on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, failure to drive on right half of roadway, no seatbelt and no insurance. He was booked and released at the Butler County jail.
