Carrie D. Evans, 40, of the 1000 block of County Road 523 reported several lawn ornaments had been stolen from her yard at 11:35 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29.

Thomas Leeroy Cantrell, 78, of the 900 block of Oakwood reported an attempted break in at a residence on the 1400 block of Camp Road, where he is a caretaker.

According to the report, Cantrell left the residence in the evening of Sept. 25. When he returned the next morning at approximately 7:30 a.m., he reported finding a section of the screened in porch had been ripped open and one of the doors had been tampered with. Cantrell reported no entry was made, but it appeared as though it was attempted several times. He reported nothing stolen.

Kyra Rae Taylor, 22, of the 1200 block of Delano Street was booked in the Butler County jail on Friday, Sept. 27, on a U.S. marshal warrant and suspicion of possession of a controlled substance as well as three failure to appear warrants for traffic violations and one failure to appear warrant for stealing.

Barry Dale Thornsberry, 33, of the 3300 block of Kentucky Street was booked in the Butler County jail on Sunday, Sept. 29, on five failure to appear warrants for driving while suspended and one failure to appear warrant for stealing.

Stephanie Elaine Woodham, 30, of Qulin was booked in the Butler County jail on Sunday, Sept. 29, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (cannabinoid) and trespassing as well as a failure to appear warrant for non-support.

Tonya Leeann Yeager, 47, of Hartsville, Tennessee, was booked in the Butler County jail on Friday, Sept. 28, on six failure to appear warrants: three for no proof of auto insurance, one for stealing, one for possession of marijuana and one for burglary.

Missouri State Highway Patrol

Dawson M. Williams, 21, of Ellsinore was arrested at 12:24 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated resulting in serious physical injury, no valid license, no proof of insurance and failure to drive on the right half of the road. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

A 66-year-old Doniphan woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 5:50 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, on a saddle drive two miles southwest of Dexter.

According to the report, Billie S. Peterson was operating a 2018 monster mono mini bike heading southbound when the vehicle struck a tree.

Peterson, who was ejected, was transported by air to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment of moderate injuries.
