Butler County Sheriff

Carrie D. Evans, 40, of the 1000 block of County Road 523 reported several lawn ornaments had been stolen from her yard at 11:35 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29.

Thomas Leeroy Cantrell, 78, of the 900 block of Oakwood reported an attempted break in at a residence on the 1400 block of Camp Road, where he is a caretaker.

According to the report, Cantrell left the residence in the evening of Sept. 25. When he returned the next morning at approximately 7:30 a.m., he reported finding a section of the screened in porch had been ripped open and one of the doors had been tampered with. Cantrell reported no entry was made, but it appeared as though it was attempted several times. He reported nothing stolen.

Jordan Lee Braden, 23, of the 1500 block of Grand Avenue was booked in the Butler County jail Saturday, Sept. 28, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), second degree trafficking drugs and delivery of a controlled substance.

Bruce Linn Chronister, 29, of the 100 block of Windy Ridge Circle was booked in the Butler County jail on Monday, Sept. 30, on suspicion of resisting arrest by fleeing.

Bruce Lee Cole, 37, of Qulin was booked in the Butler County jail on Sunday, Sept. 29, on suspicion of second degree trespassing.

Michael Lynn Collins, 42, of Kennett was booked in the Butler County jail on Friday, Sept. 27, on a failure to appear warrant for non-support.

Keaton Paul Craft, 27, of Qulin was booked in the Butler County jail on Saturday, Sept. 28, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated and failure to drive within a single lane.

Isaiah David James Feltz, 19, of the 1500 block of Grand Avenue was booked in the Butler County jail on Saturday, Sept. 28, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana), driving on a highway without a valid license, selling drug paraphernalia and selling a controlled substance.

William Aaron Helton, 29, of Delane Street was booked in the Butler County jail on Saturday, Sept. 28, on a failure to appear warrant for stealing.

Laurie Ann Hinsa, 57, of Qulin was booked in the Butler County jail on Sunday, Sept. 29, on suspicion of trespassing.

Colton Amos Howell, 21, of the 100 block of Mozark Lane was booked in the Butler County jail on Saturday, Sept. 28, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and first degree tampering with a motor vehicle.

Christopher Michael Irby, 39, of Qulin was booked in the Butler County jail on Sunday, Sept. 29, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (cannabinoid) and trespassing.

Sonya Lea Kendrick, 49, of the 700 block of Ethel Street was booked in the Butler County jail on Saturday, Sept. 28, on a failure to appear warrant for unsheltered storage of an abandoned vehicle and a failure to appear warrant to abate nuisance.

Dean Neal King, 50, of the 300 block of County Road 415 was booked in the Butler County jail on Saturday, Sept. 28, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Laressa Renea Matthon, 35, of the 400 block of G street was booked in the Butler County jail on Friday, Sept. 27, on a failure to appear warrant for possession of marijuana.

Alvin Leroy Pitts, 42, of the 300 block of 8th Street was booked in the Butler County jail on Friday, Sept. 27, on a failure to appear warrant for stealing.

Aaron Dale Price, 31, of the 800 block of Emma Street was booked in the Butler County jail on Friday, Sept. 27, on suspicion of stealing.

Holly Denise Rich, 34, of the 600 block of West Victor street was booked in the Butler County jail on Saturday, Sept. 28, on a failure to appear warrant for possession of marijuana.

Adam Rivers, 36, of the 600 block of Cynthia Street was booked in the Butler County jail on Sunday, Sept. 29, on suspicion of violation of an order of protection and possession of a controlled substance (marijuana).

Haley Ann Smith, 24, of the 1900 block of Kentucky Avenue was booked in the Butler County jail on Friday, Sept. 27, on a failure to appear warrant for shoplifting.

Kyra Rae Taylor, 22, of the 1200 block of Delano Street was booked in the Butler County jail on Friday, Sept. 27, on a U.S. marshal warrant and suspicion of possession of a controlled substance as well as three failure to appear warrants for traffic violations and one failure to appear warrant for stealing.

Barry Dale Thornsberry, 33, of the 3300 block of Kentucky Street was booked in the Butler County jail on Sunday, Sept. 29, on five failure to appear warrants for driving while suspended and one failure to appear warrant for stealing.

Stephanie Elaine Woodham, 30, of Qulin was booked in the Butler County jail on Sunday, Sept. 29, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (cannabinoid) and trespassing as well as a failure to appear warrant for non-support.

Tonya Leeann Yeager, 47, of Hartsville, Tennessee, was booked in the Butler County jail on Friday, Sept. 28, on six failure to appear warrants: three for no proof of auto insurance, one for stealing, one for possession of marijuana and one for burglary.

Missouri State Highway Patrol

Dawson M. Williams, 21, of Ellsinore was arrested at 12:24 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated resulting in serious physical injury, no valid license, no proof of insurance and failure to drive on the right half of the road. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

A 66-year-old Doniphan woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 5:50 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, on a saddle drive two miles southwest of Dexter.

According to the report, Billie S. Peterson was operating a 2018 monster mono mini bike heading southbound when the vehicle struck a tree.

Peterson, who was ejected, was transported by air to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment of moderate injuries.
