City firefighters responded 12:41 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27, to a report of a structure fire at 616 Kinzer St.
According to the report, firefighters found smoke coming from a vacant, two-story wood frame house.
Upon entering the home, firefighters found a fire had been set in the living room and used 200 gallons of water to put it out.

City firefighters responded 9:33 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, to a report of smoke in the area of 2744 Barron Road.
According to the report, firefighters found an unauthorized burn. The fire was extinguished.

City firefighters responded at 2:57 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, to a motor-vehicle crash in the parking lot at 2770 N. Westwood Blvd.
According to the report, firefighters assisted emergency-medical-services personnel in loading patients.

City firefighters responded at 9:46 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, to a report of a cut gas line at McAlister’s Deli, 2865 Tucker Road.
According to the report, employees told firefighters they had called about a gas odor not a cut line. Firefighters found a small gas leak around the meter.
Spire employees also responded to make repairs.
